Household Hazardous Waste
Each year Americans generate 1.6 million tons of household hazardous waste, according to the EPA. That's about 30 lbs. of paint, pesticides and cleaning products each year. For Waco residents, there is an annual collection event, usually held in the spring of each year.
Please contact the Solid Waste Department at 299-2612 to inquire when and where the next event will occur. |
