Waco Police Officer's Trading Cards

Children and adults alike have enjoyed collecting Waco Police Officer Trading Cards since 1997. Then Chief of Police Gilbert Miller and Officers assigned to the Department's Neighborhood Services Section were the first to have trading cards made.

Thanks to the generous support of local businesses, individuals and our citizen volunteers over 75 Officers (and counting) have since received their trader cards. The cards are a tremendous hit with kids of all ages who frequently approach the Officers to ask for one of their cards. It has been a wonderful means for the Officers and kids to interact with one another. The program has proven to be a hit with the Officers as well, with many requests for a card of "their own" that are awaiting a sponsor.

You can be part of this great program! A $180.00 tax-deductible donation will sponsor an Officer's Trader Card. The Officer receives 2000 cards and the sponsor's name/business is listed on the back of each card.

Sponsors also receive a framed certificate of appreciation with the sponsored Officer's card (front and back) attached to the certificate. For information e-mail CPAAA President Terry Williams or contact Officer Bill Hall at (254) 750-1764.
