Brent Stroman has served in the Waco Police Department for
30 years and was appointed to the Chief position on Dec. 18,
2007. Chief Stroman came to Waco from Austin, Texas after graduating
with a B.S. in Police Administration from Sul Ross State University
in Alpine Texas.
As a police officer, he continued his formal education by earning
a Master of Public Administration from Texas State University.
Chief Stroman has served and managed most areas of the Waco
Police Department including Patrol, Planning, Crime Prevention,
Assistant Chief of Patrol for 11 years and most recently 4 years
as Assistant Chief of the Criminal Investigations Division.
