Parent/Tot (6 months - 2 years) 30 minutes: This American
Red Cross program is designed to familiarize your child with being
in and around the water. The goals of the course are to increase
the comfort level of each child with the water and help develop
confidence as they progress and move on to the learn to swim program.
An adult is required to accompany and participate in these classes.
Preschool (3 - 5 years): Designed to be an independent
learning environment for 3 - 5 year olds this course continues to
build confidence and comfort in and around the water as well as
developing new skills. Some skills emphasized in the course are:
learning to low bubbles, supported kick on front and back, and retrieving
objects underwater.
Adult (18 years and Up): The adult swim class is for anyone
who wishes to become more familiar and more confident in and around
the water. The class is taught in a non-threatening environment
with personal attention from the instructors. Class size is limited
so get in early. Ages: 18 and Older
