Waco Paddling Trails

Bosque River:
Bosque Bluffs Paddling Trail - 1.8 miles one-way or 3.6-mile loop

Brazos River:
Brazos Bridges Paddling Trail - 4 miles one-way or 8-mile loop

Waco Paddle Club is a group of community members that take advantage of the many Central Texas waterways on a weekly basis. Emails are sent out in regards to upcoming paddles. For more information, please email waco_paddle_club@yahoo.com

The City of Waco is working towards further conservation of the Bosque and Brazos rivers through partnering with Texas Parks and Wildlife. Together, they will develop specific paddling trails that will conserve the river habitats and provide recreational opportunities for the community and traveling public.

Canoeing and kayaking is currently popular along both rivers, but the partnership will increase the conservation of the area, signage will be put up for areas to take in or out, and more detailed maps will be created of each river.
