Cameron Park lies at the heart of Waco, along a series of bluffs and gullies fronting the Brazos and Bosque rivers.
Containing more that 400 acres of varied terrain such as dense foliage, high overlooks and river bottomlands, Cameron Park is one of the most unique municipal parks in the nation. Few public places can match the park's beauty, size, history and recreational opportunities.
Overlooking the convergence of the Brazos and Bosque rivers, Cameron Park East features unbelievable views of Cameron Park's lush vegetation and towering limestone cliffs, which were formed by the Balcones Fault.
The park, filled with a mix of trees and open fields, sprawls along the riverside and includes the Jimmy Bryant Horseshoe Complex, a disc golf course, several boating docks and numerous fishing spots.
