The Athletics office for the City of Waco coordinates youth basketball leagues in both the summer and winter seasons. The summer league begins in May and the winter league begins in October. The winter league consists of more than 50 teams from Central Texas.

Baylor University, the Dallas Mavericks and Dr Pepper offer an annual, free All Star Basketball Clinic featuring training, lunch and special guests for ages 5 to 18.

Adult Men's basketball leagues for the summer consist of church and open teams. For the fall there is an industrial team league and the winter holds a 35 & over league.
