Public Forums for Seniors and their Caregivers
Designed to meet the legal needs of many seniors and their caregivers
in such matters as Medical and Durable Powers of Attorney, Health Directives,
Guardianships, and navigating the Medicare system. These forums are being
presented through a collaborative effort by the Legal Assistance Project,
the HOT AAA, Friends for Life, and the law firm of Rainey & Rainey, LLP.
All information will be presented in an easily accessible group format
designed to help both seniors and their caregivers through the sometimes
overwhelming decision-making process involved in long term-care planning.
Technical support in the preparation of needed documents will be available
through the Legal Assistance Project.
