Municipal Court Fines

As with all Animal Control Units and Shelters, there are fees and fines involved. Below is a list of some of those fees and fines.

Shelter Boarding Fees

• Daily Boarding Fee: DOG - $10.00 a day
• CAT - 10.00 a day
• Rabies Vaccination fee: $10.00 per animal (required for any animal not current on rabies vaccinations)

City Impound Fee

The City of Waco charges an impound fee for all animals impounded by the Animal Control Unit.

• First offense: $50.00
• Second Offense: $75.00
• Third Offense: $100.00
• These fees may be reduced by half for neutered/spayed animals

Citations

Citations may be issued for various Class "C" misdemeanor infractions of the Animal Ordinances. To view these, click here: Municipal Court Fines
