Unlimited fixed route rides for the duration of the calendar day

31 Day Pass $35.00
Unlimited fixed route rides during a 31 day period. The 31 day period does not start until the card is used for the first time on the bus.

Senior Fare $.50
Waco Transit Senior ID required. Good for Single One Way ride, includes transfers.

Disabled Fare $.50
Waco Transit Disability ID required. Good for Single One Way ride, includes transfers.

Student Fare $.75
Waco Transit Student ID required. Good for Single One Way ride, includes transfers.

Children FREE
Children must be 5 years old or younger with an adult

Exact Fare is required. Bus Operators carry no money and cannot make change or give refunds.

Marlin Fare
Day Pass $5.00, 31 Day Pass $70.00.

DISCOUNTED FARES:

If you meet the qualifications for a discounted fare and wish to apply, request an application for discounted fare at the Waco Transit dispatch office. If approved, you will be required to take a picture for and purchase a Waco Transit ID card for $5.00. The approval process may take up to two weeks to complete. Student Fare $.75 You must be a student from 6 years of age through the 12 th grade, with paperwork documenting attendance to a recognized school.

Senior Fare $.50 You must be a senior citizen at least 65 years of age with proof of date of birth.

RIDER'S GUIDE

Service is provided on every weekday except Sundays. Service is provided year round with the exception of the following Holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, July 4th , Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.

Waco Transit's Fixed Route bus service works as a flag stop system. There are designated stops for all routes and vehicles may be flagged for a stop at most places along the route. To “flag” a bus for a ride, position yourself on the correct side of the street well before any major intersection. Then attempt to make eye contact with the driver and wave your arm up arm up and down (not like a hello wave). If safe, the bus operator will stop the vehicle as close to your location as possible.

Operators are instructed NOT to stop for citizens on the opposite side of the street, along busy highways or near congested intersections. Safety is Waco Transit's first priority both for our passengers, operators and other vehicles.

Please board through the front door, pay exact fare, and take a seat. Smoking, eating, or drinking are not permitted on the bus. The bus operator is concerned with your safety and meeting your schedule. He'll be glad to answer any questions once the bus has come to a complete stop.

When on the vehicle to signal the bus operator to stop please push the yellow signal strip near your seat. This rings the bell letting the driver know to let you off at the next corner or bus stop. Please exit through the rear door.
