New Waco Police Facility Relocation and Renovation

Status as of:

 April 22, 2008- The Police Department and city staff are currently developing a Request For Proposal (RFP) for firms to submit proposals for the architectural and engineering design to renovate what is currently known as the Hillcrest Medical Tower for the relocation of our police department.  Our commitment is to design and maintain a facility that meets the needs of the City and our visitors, is customer-focused, attractive, efficient, clean, safe and accessible to all citizens.

January 2008 - Negotiation between Hillcrest and the City of Waco resumed and the contract for purchase is being finalized.

October 2007- Negotiations to purchase Hillcrest Medical Tower were placed on hold in October 2007 to allow another potential bidder to present their plans for the building.
