The Fire Department has identified the location for the new station at TSTC which will be near the intersection of 9th and Airline Drive. (A map of the proposed area has been attached). At their meeting on March 18, 2008 the Waco City Council authorized the City Manager to sign the lease agreement with TSTC for that location. This lease is being drafted and will be completed once the property has been surveyed.
The second location in East Waco is being negotiated through a
realtor. The realtor is in negotiations with several different
property owners. Once properties are acquired a design firm will
be selected and plans developed.
