Convention Center - $17.5 Million
U P D A T E: Chisholm Hall and McLennan Room are complete. A new escalator was installed and major functional and appearance changes on the entire facility are under way with scheduled completion by the end of August 2011.

Background on the Bond Election
On May 12, 2007, citizens of Waco approved the six bond propositions listed below totaling $63 million. Due to favorable market pricing and the city's excellent bond and financial reputation, the bonds were purchased at a low 4.615326%.
Each of the six projects are accounted for in separate capital project funds. As these projects develop, these designated funds (plus interest earned) will be used exclusively for the bond projects as voted by citizens.
