Impounded Animals

If you believe that your animal has been impounded, you may look for and possibly reclaim your animal at the Waco Humane Society Animal Shelter.

All animals impounded by the Waco Animal Control Unit are taken to the Waco Humane Society Animal Shelter as the holding facility.

Location:

2032 Circle Road, Waco, Texas 76708

Hours of Operation:

Monday - Friday: 11 a.m.- 6 p.m.
Saturdays: 11 a.m.- 5 p.m.
Sundays: Closed

Adoptions/Reclaims: Close at 5:30 p.m. weekdays & 4:30 p.m. on Saturdays.

If you are missing an animal, it is recommended that you visit the Shelter and make a Lost Animal Report and then visit the shelter at least every 72 hours to look for your pet.

If you have found and animal, it is recommended that you visit or call the shelter and fill out a Found Animal Report if you intend to hold on to the animal yourself. The Shelter may ask for a monetary donation to help defray the cost of care for the animal.
