MPO POLICY BOARD


The Policy Board meeting is tentatively scheduled for the fourth Tuesday of every month. All Policy Board meetings are open to the public.

The next meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at 2 p.m.  Location TBA.  
        New agendas are posted approximately two weeks before the event.

Public Comment Period 

The Waco Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) welcomes public comments regarding two programs.

The 2011-2014 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) is a list of projects scheduled to begin one of four phases of work within the Waco Metropolitan Area during the four-year timeframe of the document. These phases include preliminary engineering, right of way acquisition, construction, or for public transportation services, implementation.  The Current Transportation Improvement Program (TIP).

The 2012 – 2013 Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP) identifies the work tasks the Waco MPO intends to accomplish during the next 2 years and the estimated costs to complete these tasks. The UPWP serves as the operating budget for the MPO.

Comments must be received by June 17, 2011 to be included as part of the official record. Please see link below for more information.
