The Waco-McLennan County Library is currently interviewing for the following positions:
- Technical Services: Basic processing of library materials, repairs, data processing.
- Book Shelver: Shelving books, dvd's, etc. at the Central Library. Requirements include: Interview, background check and completion of the Dewey Decimal Test with 85% accuracy. Training is provided and flexible hours available.
- Tutors Needed: Applications being accepted for Spring 2010 homework tutoring program for K-8th grade at branch libraries. Strong skills in math, science, English and reading a plus. Training provided, weekly commitment and background check required.
- Booksale: Volunteers needed to work the Friends of the Waco-McLennan County Booksale at the HOT Fairgrounds, Nov. 12-15. For more information, check the Booksale web page under Library.
