a free, independent service that lets you customize library
reminders.
New Security Feature
for Library Patrons
The Library has now implemented a PIN number feature. When
you log on to a Public Computer or to the Library catalog you
will be asked for a PIN in addition to your library card number.
This will add a level of security to your library transactions.
Your PIN is the last four digits of your home phone number.
You may change this number by visiting any library and speaking
to the Circulation staff when you check out your library materials.

Got a traffic ticket?
Need to take a defensive driving course? You can
now check out the DVD home course from any of the Waco-McLennan
County libraries. DVDs can be checked out for seven days with
a library card. Check the library
catalog for copy availability.
The DVD is produced by the Defensive Driving Institute.
Information about how to obtain and pay for a defensive driving
certificate is included on the DVD.
