Ancestry Library:
This family history research database is the library version of Ancestry.com and contains the US Census from 1820's-1930's, births, marriages and death records (SSDI), immigration records, biographies, newspapers and periodicals as well as UK censuses and more. Available for in Library use only.

Bibliography of Native North Americans:
A bibliographic database covering all aspects of native North American culture, history, and life. This resource covers a wide range of topics including archaeology, multicultural relations, gaming, governance, legend, and literacy.

Footnote:
Footnote, a continuously growing digital database that which has partnered with the National Archives, provides millions of original documents of historic and genealogic interest. Available for in Library use only.

Genline Swedish Church Records Online:
Currently, this digital image database has Swedish church records from the 16th-20th century. Records consist of birth/baptismal, confirmation, marriage, death/burial, church ledgers and household examination rolls. Available for use in Library Genealogy Department only.

Handbook of Texas Online:
A multidisciplinary encyclopedia of Texas history, geography, and culture. It contains articles on people, places, events, historical themes, institutions, and a host of other topic categories.

HeritageQuest Online:
Provides a unique and continuously expanding collection of research materials to help patrons trace their family lineage and American culture. It contains: Family and Local histories, U.S. Federal Census from 1790-1930, the Periodical Source Index (PERSI), the Revolutionary War Pension Applications & Bounty Land Warrant Applications, and the Freedman's Bank Records.

Salem Press History
Incorporates two resources - Milestone Documents in American History, and "The Eighties in America". Milestone documents includes many primary source documents, speeches, essays, and much more. "The Eighties in America" is a resource documenting life in the US in the 1980's. It is suitable for a general audience from middle school to adults. To LOGIN, please enter your Library Barcode number in the box which says "Access Password or Barcode" and then press the SUBMIT button.

Texas Digital Sanborn Maps:
Provides digital access to large-scale maps of hundreds of Texas towns and cities. The Sanborn Map Company was a publisher of fire insurance maps for nearly 100 years. Sanborn maps are valuable research tools for historians, genealogists, urban planners, architects, environmentalists and writers. Users have the ability to magnify and zoom in on specific sections, and easily print.

Texas Reference Center:
Texas Reference Center includes full text journals and books about Texas history, ethnic & cultural diversity, gender studies, literature, public health, business as well as home & garden and sports & leisure. The database contains biographies of famous historical and contemporary Texans. Also available is the Spanish-language newspaper El Sol de Texas with Texas and national news coverage.

World History Collection:
Offers a global look at history with content from Africa, Asia, North and South America, Europe and the Middle East. World History Collection contains cover-to-cover full text, including many peer-reviewed journals. Full text dates as far back as 1964.
