Upcoming Computer Classes
Computer Classes are free and open to all ages 16
and up. Seniors Classes at R. B. Hoover are aimed at new computer
users ages 50 and up.
Please call the library where your class is being
held to reserve your spot in the class.
Computer classes change each month. If you don’t
see the class you want, check next month. Schedules are released
on or around the 15th of the month for the next month.
There will be No Classes between November 10 and 16 because of
the Annual Library Booksale. Join us Nov 13—16 at the HOT Fairgrounds.
The Library will be Closed Nov. 27 and 28 for Thanksgiving

Basic Computers for
Seniors
This beginner’s class is an excellent place to start.
Learn to turn the computer on and off. Take the Mouse Tutorial.
Understand the parts of the computer and computer terms. Learn
how your computer is organized and create folders so you can find
your files. Customize the computer to make it easier for you to
use.

Basic Internet
Tired of searching the Internet and not finding
what you want? Take this class to get basic web page navigation
tips such as clicking, scrolling and browsing. Learn about web
addresses and how to create your own favorites list. Use a search
engine like Google or Yahoo to find web pages that interest you
and contain quality information.
