The Friends are accepting donations of books, videos, CDs,
DVDs and cassettes for the 2009 Book sale at all library locations
through the end of October. Gladly taken are gently worn hardbacks,
paperbacks, children's books, DVDs, CDs, movie videos, recent
textbooks, and encyclopedias no older than 2003. We are no longer
accepting records or cassettes of any kind. For pick-up of more
than 4 boxes, please call 750-5943.
Be a Library Book Sale Fan!
Show you are a fan of books, your Library and the Friends of the Library. Your $25 donation helps to underwrite the Book Sale and will be recognized with your name on our Book Sale Fan Wall at the 2009 Sale.
Your name will be printed on a bookplate and placed on this prominent wall near the sale entrance during the sale and in our libraries during December showing your support! Click for more...
Teacher Appreciation
The Friends of the Library will be honoring local teachers at this year's book sale.
The Friends are sponsoring Teacher Recognition Day from 2-6pm on Saturday November 14 to thank teachers for their dedication and contribution to our community. All local teachers with their school ID will receive 20% off book sale purchases on Saturday afternoon. Collectors Corner items are not included in this offer.
Additionally, you can honor your child's teacher or other special teacher by placing them on the Friend's "Teacher Honor Roll" at the 2009 Sale by making a $25 donation to the Friends. The teacher you honor will receive a $10 shopping gift certificate for the sale. They may use this anytime during the sale. This makes a great thank-you gift for your child's teachers.
